I have been trying to be present with our little girl when she's awake and when I'm not doing chores so, bogging has taken a backseat to that. I thought I would put up a quick post from my phone while I am otherwise occupied (aka: pumping).
She is amazing us by growing bigger day by day. She is starting to recognize us and is starting to use her deadly weapon more and more - her smile. When she smiles, we can't help but smile or laugh back at her. Sometimes I even tear up because it's such an amazing feeling, making someone that you created happy just by being there for her.
We love watching her as she starts to explore new things. She is starting to see certain toys and pay a bit more attention when she is in her play gym. She is also getting more sleep at night which is a huge help to her Mom and Dad (mom especially!!)
I have a few posts in queue that I hope to get up soon. For now, here's a little collage of our smiley little girl. She's 8 weeks old today and just the joy of our lives.
