**I wrote a few posts over the past few months. These are to catch you up on where I've been.**
Over the weekend, I still felt pretty bad. I had nausea on and off and stayed in bed for most of Saturday. I started feeling better around Sunday afternoon. I was so happy that I didn't have nausea in week 4. I was traveling for work, so I was working odd hours and struggling with a product that I hadn't installed before. I ate breakfast at the hotel every morning which was a free Hampton Inn breakfast and that normally consisted of hard boiled eggs and cereal. Lunch was at a different restaurant every day except Friday. Thankfully I had time for it the first four days. I skipped dinner a couple of nights and ate delivery the other nights. It was a long, stressful week of work. My only symptoms were twinges and mild cramps in my belly and not being able to eat a lot in one sitting.
I ate out twice with family while I was in Cleveland. I come from a family of drinkers (we're Irish Catholic, it's in the blood) so not drinking at meals is pretty weird. I went out with my cousin and her new fiance one night and just explained the issue away with a belly ache. There were no comments, I was happy. I went out with two of my Aunts and an Uncle on Friday before my flight and ordered just water. I got some looks for that but passed it off as a long week and needing to be sober for my flight. By the end of dinner, my Mom's sister started asking me why I wasn't drinking. She asked if I was pregnant. Three times. I looked at her and told her we aren't having kids. Ugh. I'm the worst.liar.ever. Can't wait to tell her in 2 months that uh..."I lied to your face."

How far along?: 5 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 0
The Bump: Nothing yet. A bit more bloated after meals.
What I’m excited about/looking forward to: Looking forward to our first prenatal visit on October 26th. Hoping I will continue to feel as well as I did last week!
Maternity Clothes: Nothing yet. I have some jeans that were a bit too big for me before that I'll be wearing as long as I can. I also bought a great pair of yoga pants that I think can pass as work pants. Fingers crossed for those really uncomfortable days.
Symptoms: Mild cramping and little twinges in the belly. It happens on both sides of my stomach and I find myself pressing in on where I'm feeling the mild pain when it happens. I had one small spot today and freaked out. I texted the friend who knows who is also pregnant freaking out. She calmed me down. It was not new blood so it should be all right. If it happens again or I start having worse cramps, I'll call my doctor.
Belly Button in or out?: In.
Food Cravings/Aversions: Aversions: nothing right now. Dessert this past week. Cravings: Sweets! This past week I didn't want dessert. Yesterday and today I have been craving cookies, twinkies, cupcakes, etc. Thankfully I'm too full to really eat many.
What I miss: Nothing yet.
Milestones: Five weeks!

Wow, covering up your not drinking must have been such a pain the past few months. But I bet your aunt understood/will understand when you tell the truth!
Look at you - so good at keeping tabs on the pregnancy! I barely wrote anything down, and have taken minimal photos of myself in general in the past 10 months (yes, I'm currently 10 months pregnant - that "9 months" thing is a lie), nevermind dedicated belly photos!
Some advice on maternity clothes, when you start to buy it - buy some things that you don't think you'll EVER fit into - especially tops. I bought things that fit and were just loose in the belly instead of buying up and now have to face the uncomfortable truth every morning that I have only 3 shirts that are long enough to cover ALL of the belly in it's fully glory.
Tunics and dresses are your friends. I should have bought more of them!
Ha! I tried. After week 7, I stopped because I was too tired to get myself off of the couch to do it. I've been trying to get back into it now that I have energy again.
When we told her, she said she knew it because of that dinner! I am officially the worst liar on earth. :)
