2011 Book Count
Books Read: 5
Books Started: 1
Ouch.
Reading came to a screeching halt 2 weeks ago when I started New York: The Novel by Edward Rutherford. It was an enjoyable book, full of names you would recognize like Ben Franklin, George Washington and J.P. Morgan, but man was it ever long! I was trying to keep up with names/dates/places which made me keep back tracking to figure out who was related through the decades. What a challenge, that book was. I'm glad I'm finished with it but I am also very glad I read it.
From the challenging book to the fluff read, I'm on to a James Patterson book. Unfortunately Patterson really lost some quality when he started outputting multiple books a year. I can't say I don't enjoy a Patterson book though, so onward to fluff we go! I'm guessing I'll be reading February book #2 in approximately 3 days or less.
